For CFOs & RevOps at FSM & Home Services SaaS

LTV, CAC, and payback that nobody had to assemble in a spreadsheet

Your CRM, ad platforms, billing, GL, and payroll never shared an account key, so unit economics get rebuilt by hand monthly and nobody fully trusts them.

A data warehouse built specifically for CFOs and RevOps teams at field service and home services software companies. Connect the CRM, ad platforms, billing, the GL, and payroll. Live in about 48 hours.

Synopsis is a data warehouse for vertical SaaS companies selling to contractors and the field trades, live on your own systems in about 48 hours. Salesforce pipeline, Google Ads spend, Maxio subscription revenue, NetSuite cost, Rippling headcount, and ChurnZero health land in one warehouse keyed to the same account and cohort. A question like what our real unit economics are this month, by segment and by channel, becomes a single query rather than a spreadsheet nobody fully trusts. Updated August 2026.

Popular pairings

The pairings that produce unit economics nobody had to assemble.

LTV, CAC, and payback need five systems to agree on what an account is. That is the join.

Salesforce + Maxio

Synopsis integrates Salesforce closed-won opportunities with Maxio subscription and invoice history, so booked and billed revenue reconcile per account.

Google Ads + Salesforce

Synopsis connects Google Ads channel spend to Salesforce sourced pipeline and closed revenue, so CAC by channel is measured against what that channel actually produced.

Maxio + NetSuite

Synopsis joins Maxio subscription revenue to NetSuite cost of revenue, so gross margin by segment is a query rather than a quarter-end exercise.

Rippling + NetSuite

Synopsis syncs Rippling headcount and payroll cost to NetSuite departments, so fully loaded cost lands against the segment it serves.

ChurnZero + Maxio

Synopsis integrates ChurnZero health scores with realised Maxio retention, so LTV rests on observed cohort behaviour instead of an assumption.

Salesforce + NetSuite

Synopsis joins the Salesforce account record to the NetSuite ledger, so every unit-economics number traces back to a source row.

Questions

Answers before you ask.

Why don't our CAC, LTV, and payback numbers agree between sales, finance, and the board deck?

Because each system keys the customer differently and each team keys the metric differently: the ad platforms count spend by campaign, the CRM counts deals by owner, billing counts subscriptions, payroll counts people, and the GL counts invoices. Synopsis resolves them to one account key and one stored definition of CAC, LTV, and payback, so the rep scorecard, the finance model, and the board slide compute the same way. Synopsis brings the records together for analysis; it doesn't replace your systems of record.

Can these numbers stand up in a board meeting or a diligence process?

Every figure traces back to the row behind it: the Salesforce opportunity, the Google Ads or LinkedIn Ads spend, the Maxio or Stripe Billing invoice, the Rippling payroll run, and the NetSuite entry. A follow-up question gets answered by drilling into the source, with no model to rebuild. An acquired book folds into the same warehouse on the same account key, so blended unit economics read across both books.

How far back can we run cohorts and payback?

As far back as your systems still hold. The first load pulls the history each connected system kept, so cohort retention and payback run from the oldest rows in your CRM and your billing platform. Where one source holds less history than the others, the warehouse shows where that source starts instead of filling the gap.

Does Synopsis integrate Salesforce with Maxio?

Yes. Salesforce opportunities and Maxio subscription and invoice history land in one warehouse keyed to the same account, so LTV, CAC, and payback read in one query. The same holds for HubSpot, Chargebee, Recurly, Stripe Billing, Zuora, NetSuite, Rippling, and the rest of a software company's systems.

We run a system that isn't listed here. Can you connect it?

Usually, yes. The AI builds the connector from an export or an API, and a new system is typically flowing in days. If it can produce a file, it is a candidate.

How long until we can start asking questions?

Your first connected systems are answering questions in about 48 hours, and a full rollout lands in days, not a multi-quarter data project.

Do we need a data team or anyone who knows SQL?

No. We configure your warehouse with you and connect the systems you already run; your team just asks questions in plain English. Nobody has to write SQL or babysit pipelines unless they want to.

Does Synopsis replace the software we already use?

No. Your systems of record — ERP, CRM, accounting, and the rest — stay exactly where they are. Synopsis sits on top and joins them into one place you can query, so you report across everything instead of exporting from each tool.

Where does our data live, and is it secure?

Your data stays in your own warehouse — we don't keep a copy. Access is governed per user and every query is audit-logged. Synopsis is SOC 2 Type II, and you can review our live security posture in the Trust Center.

How is this different from a BI tool or a stack of dashboards?

BI tools chart data that something else already had to clean and join. Synopsis does that upstream work — connecting your systems, resolving entities, and enforcing your metric definitions — then answers in plain English, builds the dashboards, and traces every number back to its source.
